ReutersFunds look to central banks for investment advice, according to a Reuters poll. Forward guidance from central banks will affect investment decisions over the next three months, according to global fund managers polled by Reuters, who advocated boosting stock exposure and decreasing bond holdings in June. In a June 17-30 Reuters asset allocation poll, fund managers and chief investment officers in the United States, Europe, and Japan advocated increasing equity holdings to an average 49.5 percent of their model global portfolio, up from this year’s low of 48.7 percent in May. “Equity valuations remain tight in absolute terms but not relative to bonds, implying that there is no option to investing in equities over the medium term,” said Pascal Blanqué, Amundi’s group chief investment officer./n
