An architecture firm has designed a floating, 5-star hotel that would generate its own electricity by rotating, but it may be too futuristic for its own good

The planned hotel would rotate to generate electrical energy, according to the architects.

The rotation would “not produce all the energy it needs,” Turk said.

He added that the amount of electricity generated will depend on where the hotel is located and the water current there.

Guests would be able to reach the hotel by boat or via a 140-foot pier that would connect to the shore.
