Reuters For UK and Ireland deal-making, Citi shuffles its executive echelons – note According to a document seen by Reuters, Citigroup has designated new co-heads of its banking, capital markets, and advising franchises for the UK and Ireland as part of a leadership shake-up aimed at expanding its client network in Europe’s largest M&A market. James Fleming and Jan Skarbek will share leadership of the region’s BCMA business, working closely with Andrew Seaton, who has been designated chairman of the same franchise after overseeing Citi’s corporate broking team for the past ten years. “The United Kingdom and Ireland constitute a globally attractive venue for international enterprises seeking deep pools of capital and financial services,” said Nacho Orrantia-Gutierrez, Citi’s head of EMEA banking, capital markets, and advising, who signed the letter.
