Hacktivist group Anonymous has declared war on the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commissions, reveals stance on the ongoing Ripple vs SEC lawsuit.
Anonymous makes clear that the SEC will lose its battle against Ripple, and that key components of the SEC’s government infrastructure will be hijacked.

Founded in 2003, by Aubrey Cottle, Anonymous is a decentralized international activist and activist group. Anonymous centers its missions around cyberattacks mostly carried out against different government institutions and agencies across the globe. Back in 2020, Anonymous threatened to infiltrate the Nigerian government during the End Sars police brutality movement.

The group has also revealed plans to publicly embarrass Russia, using different techniques, including hacking into databases and proceeding to leak some private compromising information to the internet.

Most recently, Anonymous has made a video that has been making rounds within the Ripple community, in which the group stated that the lawsuit between the SEC and Ripple had gone on for much longer.

The hacktivist group, like many other Ripple supporters, believes that the SEC will lose to Ripple and that the Hinman emails will reveal the inconsistency and biases in the SEC. Anonymous further claimed that Jay Clayton, the former SEC commissioner, was paid to target Ripple not long before he left the position. Anonymous explained in the video:

This is a message from Anonymous for Jay Clayton and the SEC. It has come to our attention that the lawsuit versus the “SEC and Ripple” is taking too long. We can assure you, this will end with Ripple winning. The Hinman emails will expose the corruptness within the SEC. Also, we are now aware that Jay Clayton was paid off to sue Ripple hours prior to his departure as the SEC commissioner.

The hackers say that the U.S. SEC is outnumbered and that some of the components of its government infrastructure will be hijacked

The group rightfully acknowledged that XRP investors have recorded losses, as a result of the chaos that has erupted from the lawsuit.

They branded the SEC as the instigators, saying that the regulatory body will pay for damages and that the SEC’s secrets will be out in the open, as some parts of its government’s infrastructure are at risk of being seized. The group added:

No spam, no lies, only insights. You can unsubscribe at any time.

Thousands of XRP investors lost Money to this political nonsense. We will make you and your organization pay back for all the damages that you guys have caused. This is a ugly situation all around but your organization are the instigators. Members of Anonymous have declared cyber war against your organization. Your secrets may no longer be safe and there is a chance that key components of your government’s infrastructure could be hijacked. This is not a case that you can win, regardless of how powerful you think you are.
