KUALA LUMPUR (April 20): New Covid-19 cases in the country increased slightly to 2,341 today from 2,195 yesterday. Sarawak recorded the highest number of cases for the day with 600 infections.

Selangor followed closely behind with 539 cases, whereas Kuala Lumpur recorded 344 infections, an increase from 153 yesterday.

Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah tweeted the figures today, informing that Johor recorded 102 new cases, Sabah saw 82 infections and Penang 92.

This brought the total number of Covid-19 cases in the country so far to 379,473.
