Keppel DC REIT Management has appointed Loh Hwee Long as its CEO. In a separate development, BDA Partners has roped in Sophia Wu as Managing Director and Head of Healthcare in China.

Keppel DC REIT Management appoints CEO

The manager of Keppel DC Real Estate Investment Trust (Reit) has appointed Loh Hwee Long as its CEO. His tenure will start on July 28, 2023, per an announcement.

Long has served Keppel for over ten years and is currently the chief investment officer, wherein his primary role is to oversee data centre investments.

Before his career with Keppel, he held senior positions at Mapletree Investments, and GIC Real Estate.

Listed on the Singapore Exchange in 2014, Keppel DC REIT’s investment strategy is to principally invest in a diversified portfolio of income-producing real estate assets that are used primarily for data centre purposes, among others.

BDA Partner ropes in head of healthcare in China

BDA Partners has appointed Sophia Wu as Managing Director and Head of Healthcare in China, according to an announcement.

In this role, Sophia will expand and deepen BDA’s coverage in the healthcare sector across Asia.

Sophia has an extensive experience in healthcare M&A, capital markets, and consulting in China and the United States. Previously, she was a Partner and Head of Healthcare M&A at China e-Capital Group (CEC), a China-focused investment bank.

Prior to that, she was the Head of Healthcare at Zhongzhi Capital Group and an Investment Director at Fosun International.
