Petronas quarterly net profit doubles, boosted by wider margin and absence of impairment

Petroliam Nasional Bhd’s profit after tax more than doubled year-on-year to RM9.3 billion in the first quarter ended March 31, 2021, from RM5.42 billion thanks to a swing to impairment write-back.
