The projects total 160,000 tonnes.

Water treatment and environmental protection company SIIC Environment has signed a series of water treatment projects (totalling160,000-tonnes) in the Yangtze River Delta in China.

The projects include a 80,000 tonnes wastewater treatment plant project, a 30,000 tonnes reclaimed water plant project, and a 50,000 tonnes pre-treatment project.

Moreover, the third phase of the Pinghu City Eastern Project, a supplemental agreement signed by the company, has a total designed capacity of 135,000 tonnes per day. The WWTP is the first stage of this project, with a Class I Standard A discharge.

The Pinghu City Eastern Reclaimed Water Plant Project will have a total designed capacity of 40,000 tonnes per day, whilst its recent capacity was 30,000 tonnes per day. The discharge standard is a reclaimed water standard and the water tariff is priced at CNY5.18 per tonne.

New facilities and reconstruction of the pre-treatment area outside the plant will also bring the total designed capacity to 50,000 tonnes per day. The pre-treatment charge is priced at CNY0.28 per tonne.
