KUALA LUMPUR, 30 JUNE: SMEs’ growth prospects are likely to steadily improve in 2021, in line with the general economic growth prediction, according to Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin.
The execution of economic stimulus measures, like as the RM150 billion National People’s Well-Being and Economic Recovery Package (PEMULIH) announced on Monday, will help to promote growth, he said.
“PEMULIH’s main focus is on assisting businesses with the main goals of lowering employer costs, facilitating digitalisation efforts, providing financial assistance and tax incentives, providing financing facilities, and maintaining employment incentives, all of which will benefit SMEs. “The implementation of the economic stimulus packages and Budget 2021 will be able to assist SMEs in easing cash flow.
