According to Downdetector, more than 6,000 user reports indicated troubles with Twitter as of 9.40 a.m. Singapore time, with 93 percent of them being related to its website. Within an hour, the number had dropped to over 2,600 user reports. Twitter said in a statement that “Profiles’ tweets may not be loading for some of you on the web, and we’re presently working on a fix.” Downdetector collects status updates from a variety of sources, including user-submitted issues on its platform, to track outages.
