HANOI: According to government data issued on Tuesday, Vietnam’s gross domestic product increased 6.61 percent from a year ago in the second quarter, outpacing the first quarter’s growth of 4.65 percent. The government’s General Statistics Office stated in a statement that growth in the first quarter was revised up from 4.48 percent.
