Vietnamese healthtech company Buymed, which operates a B2B marketplace for pharmaceuticals, has secured $33.5 million in a Series B funding round led by UOB Venture Management, according to regulatory filings.
The lead investor will contribute $28 million to the Series B round in two tranches, show Buymed’s filings with Singapore’s Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA). Other investors joining the round are South Korea’s Smilegate Investment ($2.5 million) and Cocoon Capital ($3 million).
