On Monday, Xiaomi unveiled the Redmi Buds 4 Active wireless earbuds on its overseas websites; however, pricing details are yet to be announced. The earbuds feature a 12mm dynamic driver, larger than its predecessor, the Redmi Buds 4, which had a 10mm driver. This upgrade enhances the bass and elevates the acoustics. The Redmi Buds 4 Active also offers IPX4 water resistance, Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity, Google Fast Pair functionality, and touch control operations. With a single charge, the battery lasts up to five hours, and the portable charging case extends the usage to a total of 28 hours. Xiaomi claims that a 10 minute fast charge can provide an additional 110 minutes of listening time. However, active noise cancellation is not supported in the current version of the earbuds.
