JOHOR BAHRU, 10 JULY: Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim, the Tunku Mahkota of Johor, said today that 1.293 million doses of vaccine for the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme (PICK) will arrive in Johor this month in stages. Tunku Ismail stated on the ‘HRH Crown Prince of Johor’ Facebook page that of the total amount of vaccines, 583,000 were from Pfizer-BioNTech, 637,000 were from Sinovac, and 73,000 were from Pfizer-BioNTech (AstraZeneca).
“I will help receive the vaccines and guarantee that they are distributed to all Bangsa Johor (Johoreans) in a timely and effective manner.” The officials also briefed me on the amount of registrants and how the vaccines will be delivered.

“I am optimistic that many Bangsa Johor will get vaccinated in the coming weeks, bringing us closer to our aim of herd immunity.” He added, “I’d also like to remind everyone to register and get vaccinated.”
PICK Coordinating Minister Khairy Jamaluddin, as well as the relevant authorities, were also thanked by Tunku Ismail for making the required arrangements.
