KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia (July 9): According to Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob, the National Covid-19 Immunisation Program (PICK) has increased the daily vaccination rate to more above 300,000 doses per day. According to the Covid-19 Vaccine Supply Access Guarantee Special Committee (JKJAV), the total number of first and second doses distributed in the country is 10, 413,270.
“On July 8, the total vaccination doses registered throughout the country were 376,909 doses,” he stated today in a statement on the National Recovery Plan (PPN) and Enhanced Movement Control Order (EMCO) development.
Ismail Sabri, who is also the Defence Minister, said the government is encouraging people who have not yet registered for the vaccination to do so using the MySejahtera app, the website vaksincovid.gov.my, or by calling the hotline 1-800-88-8828.
Aside from that, he noted, manual registration has been implemented in health clinics and government hospitals.
The government would continue to do all possible to ensure that the immunization program runs successfully and that all Malaysians receive vaccines as soon as possible, he said./nRead More
