SHAH ALAM (15th July): According to Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari, 12 percent of residents in Selangor had got two doses of the Covid-19 vaccination.
Amirudin claimed in a Twitter post that the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme (PICK) has dispensed 2.3 million doses of vaccine in the state, the largest number ever recorded by a state.

“I’d also want to notify you that Selangor has used 78 percent of the supply obtained from the Federal Covid-19 National Immunisation Task Force (CITF),” he said.
Given the daily vaccination rate of 115,000 per day, he stated the remaining 618,000 vaccine doses will be administered for individuals with appointments within seven days.
