The housing market in Malibu has ticked up significantly since last year, data from Redfin shows, with the median sale price for a home in Malibu $5.6 million in January, up 140% from the sale time last year.

There were 13 homes sold in Malibu last month, up from 8 in the same month last year, and the median sale price for square foot has risen to $1,790, up 45.5%.

In Beverly Hills the market isn’t as hot, with the median sale price for a home $3.7 million last month, down 21.3% since the same month in 2023, and price-per-square foot has also dropped 6.8%, to $1,130.
