Reuters UBS has hired five senior wealth managers to work for Deutsche Bank. In order to expand its Swiss-based private banking business for wealthy British and Northern European clients, Deutsche Bank has hired a team of five wealth managers from UBS. The team, led by Raoul Zehnder, will serve ultra-wealthy customers and the family offices that manage their fortune as Deutsche Bank strives to expand its market share in the market for British and Northern European money managed abroad, according to a release. In a statement, Marco Pagliara, the bank’s head of international private banking for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA), stated, “Today’s news is a powerful evidence of Deutsche Bank’s EMEA Wealth Management business’s dedication and growth in this strategically important market.”/n
