GUANGZHOU, CHINA (Xinhua) — Chinese regulators have launched a cybersecurity investigation into Boss Zhipin, a publicly traded company in the United States, and its subsidiary, Full Truck Alliance. The investigation was launched to “avoid national data security threats,” according to China’s Cyberspace Administration (CAC), as the country’s technology sector continues to be targeted. Regulators named two companies: Yunmanman and Huochebang, both subsidiaries of the New York-listed Full Truck Alliance. The CAC also targeted Boss Zhipin, an online recruitment portal backed by Tencent and listed on the Nasdaq. These businesses are not permitted to add new users during the cybersecurity audit./nRead More
