KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia (July 6): The Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah congratulated Malaysian athletes on their qualification for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games today. According to a Facebook post from the Istana Negara, His Majesty hoped that national athletes would give their all when representing Malaysia at the world’s highest athletic stage.
Al-Sultan Abdullah also expressed the hope that athletes and officials will always be diligent in taking care of their health while competing in the two games, which will be held from July 23 to August 8 for the Olympic Games and August 24 to September 5 for the Paralympic Games.
