Shares of Ally Financial Inc. ALLY rose sharply during Thursday’s session after the company reported better-than-expected quarterly financial results.
Ally Financial posted adjusted earnings of 45 cents per share, beating market estimates of 33 cents per share. The company’s adjusted sales came in at $1.99 billion versus expectations of $1.96 billion.
Ally Financial shares jumped 7.7% to $39.06 on Thursday.

Badger Meter, Inc. BMI shares jumped 11.8% to $171.06 after the company reported better-than-expected first-quarter results.
FibroBiologics, Inc. FBLG rose 11.8% to $10.61.
CleanSpark, Inc. CLSK climbed 11.7% to $16.66 as Bitcoin has gained over the past 24 hours.
Genuine Parts Company GPC gained 11.1% to $160.05 after the company reported a first-quarter EPS beat and raised its FY24 guidance.
Barnes Group Inc B rose 8.8% to $36.31. DA Davidson analyst Matt Summerville upgraded Barnes from Neutral to Buy and raised the price target from $35 to $45.
Iridium Communications Inc. IRDM climbed 8.5% to $26.81 after the company reported better-than-expected first-quarter financial results.
Apogee Enterprises, Inc APOG surged 8.1% to $60.42 following upbeat quarterly earnings.
ManpowerGroup Inc. MAN gained 7.1% to $75.03 following strong second-quarter guidance.
