Vietnamese brokerage house Thien Viet Securities (TVS) has led a $2 million pre-Series A round in local artificial intelligence startup Namitech. Meanwhile, B2B software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform Leucine, that has a significant presence in India, has raised $7 million in a Series A round.

Vietnamese brokerage house Thien Viet Securities (TVS) has led a $2 million pre-Series A round in local artificial intelligence startup Namitech, per an announcement.

The startup develops neural signal processing, voice technologies, biometric solutions and natural language processing.

Its core products include VoiceDNA – a voice biometric authentication solution, conversation analyzing tool NamiSense, and CrystalSound – a conference call experience booster.

It claims to have served clients from Vietnam, Japan and the US in the financial services, insurance, retail and telecommunication sectors.

Namitech was first incubated by Vietnamese tech major FPT Corporation, whose executives spun out the business in 2022.

TVS is one of the most well-known securities firms in Vietnam. Its investment business has backed companies in fintech, education, healthcare, and media with prominent names featuring from MoMo, Finhay, MindX and Nhi Dong 315.

SaaS firm Leucine raises $7m in Series A round

B2B software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform Leucine, which has a significant presence in India, has raised $7 million in a Series A round, according to a release.

Ecolab, a water, hygiene and infection-prevention service provider, led the funding round, while Pravega Ventures, Axilor Ventures, and Techstars participated in the funding. The round also saw a few angel investors pump in capital.

“Our models are trained on a wealth of pharma data, which allows the platform to create custom workflows enriched with GxP compliance measures, enabling us to deliver unparalleled value at breakneck speed,” said Vivek Gera, co-founder and CEO of Leucine.

Founded in 2019, Leucine is an AI-powered platform that helps pharmaceutical manufacturers in staying compliant and audit-ready.

The platform is currently deployed at over 30 companies in over 300 pharma manufacturing facilities across 10 countries, including the US, India, Brazil, Mexico, and UAE, among others.
