Trukkr, a Pakistani logistics startup, has received a seed round to fund its growth aspirations in the nation. In other news, Tru Technologies, a South Korean securities fintech business, has secured $3.1 million in its Series A round.
Trukkr, a Pakistani startup, has raised $600,000 in a seed round.
According to an announcement, Pakistani logistics company Trukkr has raised a seed round to extend its operations. It raised $600,000 in stock and an undisclosed sum in debt funding in addition to the $600,000 in equity.
Peter Findley, GP at Anchorless VC; Kinnow VC, Kargo Founder and CEO Tiger Fang; and executives from Amazon and Cue Health also took part in the round.
Trukkr, which was founded in 2020, claims to be Pakistan’s fastest-growing logistics platform.
Trukkr, which provides a seamless marketplace for carriers and shippers, was created from the ground up to meet the unique issues that the $8 billion trucking business in Pakistan faces. Corporates can use the startup’s logistics management platform to manage their fleets and optimize operations.
“Trukkr offers an incredible opportunity in the Pakistani logistics space….their understanding of graph theory helps them to understand routes in a waste-free manner. This enables the trucking industry and its partners to reduce their carbon footprint,” Findley explained.
S Tru Technologies, based in Korea, has raised $3.1 million in a Series A round.
According to an announcement, Tru Technologies, a securities fintech startup based in South Korea, has raised $3.1 million in a Series A round from a group of investors.
Hana Financial Investment, Hanwha Securities, KB Investment, Kiwoom Investment, Korea Growth Investment Corp, Shinhan Capital, and Stonebridge Ventures were among the investors in the round.
Tru Technologies was created in 2015 with the goal of providing innovative technology solutions to global financial institutions, investors, and corporations. It develops, deploys, and operates enterprise-grade software products. It has a presence in Hong Kong as well.
