The Malaysian Automotive Association (MAA) has expressed its appreciation to the Government for not imposing a total nationwide lockdown and instead choosing to implement much more stringent standard operating procedures (SOPs) under the latest Movement Control Order (MCO 3.0) to protect people’s lives and livelihoods. The SOPs include limiting employee attendance capacity to only 60% at any given time, banning certain non-essential activities and restricting the movement of people during the enforcement period.
