TOKYO — Leases in newly built office buildings in Tokyo are climbing for the first time since the start of the coronavirus pandemic, according to a Nikkei survey, as businesses move headquarters amid an economic revival.
Using February 1985 as the 100-point baseline, new-building leases for the January-June half in the capital stood at 161.13 points as of March.
