Chinese video platform Bilibili is currently conducting internal testing of a newly developed AI search feature. Users can apply for internal testing participation by searching for “AI assistant” within the app. To use this feature, participants can input an additional question mark after their search keywords, and the AI assistant will provide relevant answers on the results page, along with video links. In March, Bilibili CEO Chen Rui said that the introduction of AI-generated content would significantly enhance the platform’s search feature. He cited the example of product review videos on Bilibili, explaining that users could obtain valuable information from numerous videos by asking AI for help. “We can directly provide users with valuable parts of the videos either by giving them video clips or by converting videos into texts for them.” [IT Home, in Chinese]
