(Reuters) – U.S. House of Representatives Ways and Means Committee Chairman Richard Neal said on Thursday that he will insist on the inclusion of Build America Bonds in President Biden’s new infrastructure package.

At a press conference in Massachusetts carried by a local television station, the Democrat told reporters he also obtained assurances from U.S. Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen that the federally subsidized bonds issued by states, cities, and others will be part of the president’s plan.
