KUALA LUMPUR, 14 JULY: The Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) is looking into claims of extra Covid-19 immunization slots compared to vaccine doses allocated at a vaccination center (PPV).
The matter was confirmed by Bukit Aman Commercial CID director Datuk Mohd Kamarudin Md Din, who said a report on the incident had been filed by workers from a vaccination center (PPV) in the federal capital.
According to the police report, the complaint claimed that there were more vaccine recipients recorded in the MySejahtera application than total vaccine provided to the PPV in question.

“The investigation is still in its early stages, and police will be taking statements from several witnesses involved,” he said in a statement today. “Police are urging members of the public not to speculate on the matter (and the case is being investigated under Section 5 of the Computer Crimes Act 1997).”
He also urged people to give the government their full cooperation and support in order for the National Covid-19 Immunization Program (PICK) to be implemented.
He stated that any attempt to disrupt the program’s implementation, whether for personal benefit or otherwise, will be met with harsh punishment.
