BYD Brazil’s President, Tyler Li, said the company intends to establish its own manufacturing plant in the country. Negotiations are currently underway with local authorities and federal government representatives in Bahia to situate the factory there. According to Li, the plant is expected to produce around 150,000 vehicles annually.
