TOKYO — Japanese parts supplier MinebeaMitsumi plans to invest nearly 50 billion yen ($321 million) to build a factory in Cambodia and increase solar power output at plants in Thailand, Nikkei has learned.

The fresh investments in Southeast Asia will prepare to meet growing demand from the auto and other industries while expanding the company’s use of renewable energy.
