SHANGHAI: Didi Global will be added to S&P Dow Jones’ global equity indexes on July 12 following the Chinese ride-hailing company’s stock market debut in the United States this week, according to the index publisher. S&P Dow Jones Indices said in an emailed statement that Didi shares will be included to “eligible indices after qualifying for Fast Track IPO Entry as per methodological criteria” before the start of trading on July 12.
Didi will be added to FTSE Russell’s global equity indexes on July 8, according to the index publisher.
Didi’s stock soared about 16 percent the day after it went public in the United States, making it the largest Chinese company to list in the United States since 2014.
