FTSE Russell announced on its website that Xpeng shares will be included in the FTSE All-World Index, the FTSE Global Large Cap Index, and the FTSE Emerging Index. The news comes after Xpeng, based near Guangzhou, announced on Wednesday that it will raise $1.8 billion through a Hong Kong dual primary listing to grow its product line and enhance its technologies. On Thursday, the firm announced that it delivered 17,398 automobiles in the second quarter, a five-fold increase over the previous year.
