Thirty-three major Chinese tech firms including Tencent, Alibaba, and ByteDance signed an agreement on “antitrust self-discipline” on Thursday, vowing fair competition, consumer protection and strengthened innovation. Other major signatories included Huawei, Baidu, and JD.
