KUALA LUMPUR, 30 JUNE: The number of newly confirmed Covid-19 cases in Malaysia declined to 6,276 today from 6,437 yesterday, owing to a dramatic drop in the number of new infections in Kuala Lumpur, however the number in Selangor rose.
Today’s newly confirmed Covid-19 infected individuals boosted the nation’s total number of pandemic cases to 751,979, according to a Twitter update by health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah.
According to Dr. Noor Hisham, Kuala Lumpur registered 625 new Covid-19 cases today, down from 1,361 the day before.
According to him, Selangor is still the worst-affected state, with 2,836 pandemic cases reported today, up from 2,299 the day before.
