As CryptoFED DAO becomes a legal entity in the United States, Wyoming awards its first DAO approval.
The Merchant Advisory Group (MAG), which represents 165 of the country’s major merchants, applauded the new crypto-related approvals.
With its recent regulatory flexibility, Wyoming is quickly establishing its position as the most crypto-friendly state in the US. Wyoming was the first state to recognize Decentralized Autonomous Organizations as a distinct type of Limited Liability Company in March (LLC). Soon after, the Wyoming Secretary of State’s Office approved CryptoFED DAO to operate as a legal entity, making it the first DAO to do so.
Marian Orr, the CEO of the American CryptoFED DAO, remarked shortly after receiving regulatory approval, “Wyoming is the premier digital assets jurisdiction in the United States, and now, with this DAO statute, Wyoming is perhaps the top blockchain jurisdiction in the world.” This means that a truly digital money with widespread acceptance is now feasible.
According to the official statement, the American CryptoFED DAO will be governed by its own governance token, which will be defined in the Token Safe Harbor Proposal 2.0, which was explained by SEC Commissioner Hester Pierce. The regulations are meticulously crafted by the governance token holders’ consensus and will operate independently of the central government. In addition, a dedicated blockchain will be used to store transaction records in a transparent and immutable manner.
To facilitate free transactions, the Ducat token was created.
Orr stated that their asset makes it easy for businesses, consumers, and localities to engage in digital transactions without paying fees when introducing the organization’s token.
As a former mayor, I can attest to the fact that these expenses mount up quickly. This means that towns and their citizens will no longer lose money due to transaction fees, allowing communities to raise revenue without raising taxes.
Ducat is the DAO’s native algorithm stable token. It is built on EOS and achieves high-speed transactions through the Delegated Proof-of-Stake (DPoS) consensus process. The release of new tokens is based on the Ducat holders’ interest, as rewards are also distributed to network users. It is intended to appreciate against the US dollar in response to the currency’s inflation. Furthermore, machine learning adjusts the reward and interest rates dynamically.
The Merchant Advisory Group (MAG), which represents 165 of the country’s major merchants, applauded the new crypto-related approvals. In recent years, MAG has been a vocal proponent of a competitive payment acceptance market. According to John Drechny, CEO of the MAG, the current authorisation for CryptoFED DAO to operate is a step in the right way.
Merchants will have more options for payment acceptance as a result of this. Wyoming is leading the way in establishing legal clarity in the crypto realm, and the American CryptoFed DAO is dedicated to providing merchants with a fee-free payment option. We’re excited to see what the future holds as the payment acceptance sector becomes more competitive through innovation.
