KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia (July 8): Former Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad’s Parti Pejuang Tanahair was finally registered today.
Dr Mahathir announced the news at an online press conference, saying that Home Minister Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainuddin gave his consent today, which was the deadline for Hamzah to rule on the party’s appeal, according to a court ruling.
“It has now been registered,” he stated, “and I hope that individuals who are interested will join and engage in the party’s activities.”
