PETALING JAYA, Malaysia (July 4): Following the implementation of the Enhanced Movement Control Order (EMCO) in Petaling district, Jalan Gasing Indah has been closed since midnight last night.
The road closure, according to Petaling Jaya district police commander ACP Mohamad Fakhrudin Abdul Hamid, is in compliance with the National Security Council’s order to prevent inter-district and interstate traffic in EMCO regions.
If the public has urgent needs to attend to, he said they can utilize the New Pantai Expressway and Jalan Pantai as other routes.
He said the six roadblocks erected in Subang, Sungai Buloh, Kota Damansara and Damansara toll plazas, the federal highway, and Taman Kanagapuram are being maintained by police./n
