KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia (July 6): Beginning tomorrow, the Employees Provident Fund (EPF) will operate offices and counters in areas under the Enhanced Movement Control Order (EMCO) in Selangor and Pahang.
Rawang, Shah Alam, Petaling Jaya, Puchong, Klang, Kajang, and Gombak in Selangor, as well as Kuantan, Pekan, and Jerantut in Pahang, will have branch offices and service counters that will operate with limited services and hours of 9am to 1pm on working days.
“EPF offices and counters outside the EMCO regions will remain open from 8.30 a.m. to 2 p.m., as previously indicated,” EPF said in a statement today.
The specified services, according to the pension fund, include withdrawals at the ages of 50, 55, and 60, withdrawals for health reasons or death, and the collection of payment orders (PO) or banker’s cheques.
“Members must schedule their appointments using Janji Temu Online (JTO) at www.kwsp.gov.my/janjitemu,” it stated, adding that the EPF would contact them to arrange for the PO and banker’s cheque pickup for their withdrawals.
To expedite and streamline services, members are encouraged to use EPF’s online services, i-Akaun (Member) and i-Akaun (Employer).
