Yves Herman/File Photo/File Photo/File Photo/File Photo/File Photo/File Photo/File Photo/File Photo/File (Reuters) – LONDON (Reuters) – According to EU documents released on Wednesday, the European Union will propose a new body to combat money laundering and new transparency rules for crypto-asset transfers. “By actively supervising and making judgments about some of the most risky cross-border financial sector obliged organizations, the Authority will directly contribute to preventing incidences of money laundering/terrorist financing in the Union,” according to documents reviewed by Reuters. A further proposal would impose new EU regulations on crypto-asset service providers to collect and make data about the originators and recipients of transfers in those assets available.
