KUALA LUMPUR, July 9 – Mohd Nazrul Izam Mansor has been named the next group chief executive officer (group CEO) of FGV Holdings Bhd, effective August 23. Prior to his promotion, Mohd Nazrul, 45, was the CEO of Felcra Bhd, a position he held since 2018, according to FGV’s stock exchange statement today.
In three years, Mohd Nazrul will be the plantation group’s fourth CEO. Mohd Nazrul will succeed Datuk Haris Fadzilah Hassan as group CEO of FGV, which he held for two and a half years from January 2019 to May 2021.
Following the announcement of Haris’ resignation in April, FGV on May 11 named Azman Ahmad, the group’s divisional director of logistics and support business, as officer-in-charge to replace the group CEO’s duties and responsibilities.
According to FGV, Mohd Nazrul has over 22 years of experience in various capacities in multiple different businesses, having started his career as an accounting executive with RHB Unit Trust Management Bhd in 1998.

He then moved on to Realmild Sdn Bhd as group chief financial officer in 2010, before joining N.U.R Power Sdn Bhd as director of finance in 2013. According to FGV, he held that role until 2018, when he joined Teras Dara Konsortium Sdn Bhd as managing director.
FGV named Datuk Dzulkifli Abd Wahab, a former director general of the Federal Land Development Authority (Felda), as its new chairman in April, succeeding Datuk Wira Azhar Abdul Hamid, who resigned after three and a half years to pursue other interests.
