Hong Kong-listed Value Partners Group on Friday said that Wong Wai Man June has stepped down as the chief executive and executive director of the asset manager.

Wong, who had been the chief executive of the company for two-and-a-half years, decided to stepped down from her role to pursue personal commitments, the company said.

Wong will serve as an advisor to the board for the remainder of the calendar year, it added.

The chief executive role will be taken up by the leadership committee comprising of Cheah Cheng Hye and So Chun Ki Louis while the search for a new chief is ongoing, the company said.
