The Hong Kong Tourism Board plans to launch new campaigns this year to promote the region’s position as an international tourism destination.

The new campaigns will also encourage tourism-related trades to improve customer experience.

HKTB said it will roll out training videos and promotional activities this year.

The tourism board said it will also work with relevant Mainland authorities to enhance the Individual Visit Scheme and adjust the duty-free allowance for Mainland visitors arriving in Hong Kong.

The average length of stay of overnight visitors in 3Q2023 increased to 3.5 compared to 3.1 nights pre-pandemic.
