The launch of the Unity 22 into orbit on Sunday, July 11, is one of the most anticipated events for investors this weekend.
Here’s how to watch it and what you should know about it.
Launch of Unity 22: Sir Richard Branson, the founder of Virgin Galactic Inc (NYSE: SPCE), is one of the passengers on the Unity 22.
The trip comes after the business received FAA approval following a successful flight in May. Before the firm can transport humans to space, several more test flights, including the one slated for this weekend, are required.
Virgin Galactic has received FAA certification, and the flight this weekend will be the VSS Unity’s 22nd flight test and the company’s fourth crewed spaceflight.
Passengers have made 600 reservations at prices ranging from $200,000 to $250,000 per seat.
Associated Link: Analysts predict that after Richard Branson’s Virgin Galactic flight, space stocks will soar.
How to View: The space voyage will be broadcast live on Virgin Galactic’s website and YouTube channel.
At 9 a.m. ET, the flight is set to begin coverage. The event will be hosted by Stephen Colbert.
Singer Khalid also stated that he will debut his new single “New Normal” during the Unity 22 launch in New Mexico on Friday.
