KYOTO, Japan — Japan’s Omron plans to spend about 2 billion yen ($14.3 million) to build a factory for blood pressure monitors in India so it can sell locally made devices in a growing market.
The Kyoto-based manufacturer will break ground on a site of roughly 24,000 sq. meters in the southern state of Tamil Nadu as early as August.
