The groups, led by the United States Travel Association and including airlines, casinos, hotels, airports, airplane manufacturers, and others, pushed the Biden administration to lift entrance restrictions imposed last year in the aftermath of COVID-19 by July 15. Separately, 75 members of the United States House of Representatives urged Biden to reopen the US-Canada border to non-essential travelers. David Shepardson contributed reporting.
