HANOI — Japan’s top rice cracker maker is stepping up efforts to boost its overseas sales, especially in the rest of Asia, an urgent task considering the shrinking population at home.

Kameda Seika’s goal is to increase overseas sales by 30% in the fiscal year through March 2027, compared to the business year through this past March, according to a medium- to long-term business strategy announced in August.
