KUALA LUMPUR (July 8): Due to a dearth of strong catalysts, Bursa Malaysia opened down this morning.
The benchmark FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) fell 11.69 points to 1,518.46 at 9.06 a.m., after closing at 1,530.15 on Wednesday.
At 1,525.9, the market bellwether opened 4.25 points lower.
Losers outnumbered gainers 482 to 61 on the broader market, with 196 counters unchanged, 1,449 untraded, and 10 others suspended.
