KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia (July 9): Bursa Malaysia has sent an unusual market activity (UMA) question to Kumpulan H&L High-Tech (H&L) Berhad, whose share price hit limit up after rising 30% today.
The stock exchange wondered if there was any unanticipated rumour, report, or corporate development involving the group’s operations and affairs – or any other reason – that could explain the unusual trading activity.
It requested that the engineering services provider answer to the inquiry after consulting with its directors, major shareholders, and other relevant parties.
H&L’s share price has more than doubled in the last week and a half, from its closing price of RM2.00 on June 28.
After 17.86 million shares were exchanged, the counter rose RM1.30 to RM5.64 today, giving it a market capitalization of RM206.29 million.
