TOKYO – Bank of Japan Governor Haruhiko Kuroda underlined on Monday that the central bank is ready to loosen monetary policy further if the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on the economy warrants it. In an address to the central bank’s regional branch managers, Kuroda said, “Japan’s economy remains in a bad position but is improving as a trend.”
