KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia (July 3): Leaders at all levels, as well as relevant agencies and non-governmental organizations (NGOs), have been asked to ensure that information on the government’s economic stimulus plan is widely utilized by the public in order to alleviate the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic. In a joint statement issued today, the information chiefs of the Perikatan Nasional (PN) administration urged people from all walks of life to take advantage of the government’s incentives.
“The incentives include a moratorium offered by the banks to all individual borrowers to reduce the burden of those whose income is affected,” stated the statement. “However, borrowers are encouraged not to add unnecessary financial commitments if they are not in a severe situation.”
